filefrontWelcome to the new Modsite.org website. This site and subdomains have been setup to fill the void left by Filefront's demise.

With your help, we will be able to save as many files, sites and articles from the many sites that are no longer available from the Filefront sites and affiliates.

Our main focus at present is to get a database of saved files going and uploaded to the main server, establishing an active and immediate list of files available for access and download.  Once established, we will try and duplicate some of the functionality of these previous sites, while excluding those things that did not work. With your help, we can grow something new and vibrant from this sad event.

Downloads system being recoded.

The download system we started with was not up to the task of allowing members to upload files well, so the base code is being used, but re-written to suit our needs. This will allow us to provide an improved package that will be up to the task.

Hopefully, we will this operational in the next week or so. But, until then, we are adding all of the files uploaded by Planet Phillip and a few others as well. Will keep you up to date with any changes and time frames.

Planetphillip hosts his HL2 mod files on Modsite.org!

After the fall of Filefront, Phillip's main website has moved to another host and he has kindly agreed to host all of the main download files he promotes on his sight. We would like to offer our thanks and hope Phillip's site continues to grow and post the HL2 news in the years to come.

All of the files will soon be available on both Planetphillip and on the Modsite Network. Keep watching for more exciting updates!

Member Groups now avaiable to join!

We have started groups for the site. When you join, you will be given a list of groups to be associate with, from Company of Heros, to ST: Legacy, from Quake to Age of Empire.

We hope with this addition, we hope to introduce you to other people who have a similar interest who can both assist and share your interest. Any group names that you believe we have missed, be sure to contact us and suggest a category to us and we will endeavour to add it. Thanks.

Downloads, uploads, now available.

We have started to set up the uploads section of the site. Once you are a member of Modsite, you will be able to ClickOn Download System and select a file + category to add your file to  with a short description. If there is a category that does not exist, please contact us and will will add this for you as soon as humanly possible.

All files must be for mods and no warez will be accepted. All files must be posted by their respective owners or a credit needs to be placed into the description section to let us know who created the orignal file. Thanks and enjoy.
